
Gary has been the UK Chief Financial Officer for TBWA UK since joining the group in 2009.
He holds a MBA from London Business School and has a history of successfully working in the marketing and advertising industry space for more than 25 years post Arthur Anderson, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant. His previous roles include CFO at Leo Burnet and Draft FCB and in a previous life he also helped set up a nightclub and record business with Dave Stewart (ex Eurythmics).
His interests include Value Pricing, sustainability and how marketing can stay ahead in the new digital media post pandemic landscape. He is a member of the IPA Finance Committee and BoE Decision Maker Panel.
He also sits on the UK Ad Net Zero Steering panel (the Advertising industries response to Climate change) and is on two of the five working Groups: Action 2 Curb Emissions from Advertising Production & Action 3 Curb Emissions from Media Planning & Buying.
Outside of work, he enjoys music and is regular gig goer. Having frequented the Hacienda nightclub in his younger days, he has now retired from clubbing. He has been a Man City fan all his life and a season ticket holder since 1999. He is the proud owner of the shorts that Sergio Aguero was wearing when he scored the winning goal versus QPR to give Man City their Premiership League title in 2012.
He is married with two children.
